Frankenmuth Farmers Market

The Frankenmuth Farmers Market will soon bloom again in the heart of historic Frankenmuth for its fourth season. Featuring fresh local produce, hand-made soaps, baked goods, organic breads, honey products, bedding and potted plants, and other spring goods sourced largely from within 35 miles of Frankenmuth, the Market runs every Saturday from 8am to 2pm, May 17 through October 18, opening one hour later at 9am in September and October.

This year, the Market will take a "producer priority" focus, with growers and producers offering the products they themselves have produced but also supplementing these goods with other products grown as locally as possible in Michigan. This will add an attractive diversity and variety to the product mix the Market offers to the over one thousand guests it hosts each Saturday. Furthermore, seasonal produce will feature extended appearances at the Market, helping consumers to Select Michigan by buying fresh and buying local. Additional farmers interested in selling at the Market are encouraged to join.

The Market's mission is to have producers and consumers exchange fresh, local products while educating each other, inspiring community, and keeping our rural heritage alive. The Market will continue its philosophy of enriching and educating the community with live music, informational events for adults, children's activities, and local artists, all for free every Saturday.
